Dr. María José Capella Elizalde has focused her professional career on the study and treatment of Uveitis and Ocular Inflammation, which led her to specialize in prestigious international centers in the United States. 

Member of the Vitreo-Retina area at the Barraquer Ophthalmology Center, she has developed her work in this avant-garde clinic applying the latest techniques for the diagnosis and treatment of ocular pathologies. Her scientific vocation has led her to have publications in national and international journals on proliferative diabetic retinopathy or the long-term efficacy and safety of infliximab in the treatment of Behçet's disease.
