With versed experience in Radiation Oncology, Dr. María Escarlata López Ramírez is Chief of Service at the University Hospital Fundación Jiménez Díaz in Madrid. Her areas of special interest are Prostate, Breast and Lung Cancer; Gynecologic, Digestive and Brain Cancer; and Head and Neck Tumors.
She has held a position at the Virgen de las Nieves Hospital since 2003, and her work is accredited by the Health Quality Agency of the Andalusian Health Service (SAS) as an Expert in Radiation Oncology. She is also a Certified Professor by the National Agency for Quality Assessment and Accreditation (ANECA). She has also been Co-Director of the Spanish School of Radiation Oncology (EEOR) and Member of the National Commission of her Specialty.
She has been a speaker at more than a hundred scientific events and has taught in doctoral and postgraduate programs. He has more than 50 national and international publications and has participated in dozens of research projects. She belongs to the NEURONCOR Group, experts in Brain Tumors, and is secretary of the Spanish Group (SBRT) and OI Group (Integrative Oncology), sponsored by the Spanish Society of Radiation Oncology (SEOR). She also belongs to the boards of the Spanish Society of Radiosurgery (SER) and the Latin American Society of Radiosurgery.
