Dr. María Martín Cuervo is a researcher of excellence in the area of Major Species, whose lines of research revolve around markers of inflammation in critical horses, the Nile virus and neurological diseases in horses, diagnostic imaging and paleopathology in equids.
For her magnificent research work, Martín Cuervo has been recognized in the awards granted by the Royal Academy of Veterinary Sciences and the Tomás Pascual Sanz Institute and in the Historical Colloquiums of Extremadura.
Martín Cuervo's contribution in the field of veterinary medicine goes as far as the classroom where he teaches students, whose objective is to dedicate themselves professionally to equine clinical practice.
