Experience

After beginning his professional career as a medical officer in the Spanish Military Health Corps, Dr. Jorge Rodríguez-Roda turned his attention to the specialty of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. Therefore, he performed various functions in the Cardiovascular Surgery Service of the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital, including those of resident tutor, care coordinator and head of the transapical TAVI program. 

He later assumed the role of Head of Cardiac Surgery Service at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital. In addition, his extensive professional merits have culminated in his appointment as president of the Spanish Society of Cardiovascular and Endovascular Surgery. In the academic field, he is well known for his specialization in health management, with degrees from ESADE and Georgetown University.
