Experience

The chemical engineer Carmen Pilar Jiménez Gómez has focused her professional career in the field of research, specifically in the development of heterogeneous catalysts for the valorization of biomass in the field of biorefineries and their different platforms, always promoting the use of sustainable alternative energies.

Throughout this period, he has had the opportunity to specialize in the handling of equipment and techniques of work in different chemical reactions, in addition, he has a wide experience in the handling of equipment, instruments and techniques related to the determination of the physical and chemical properties of different catalysts. All this has led him to carry out research stays in different centers of high prestige in order to collaborate with different national and international research groups.

Likewise, his work is a reference for other researchers, with 856 citations and an h-index of 15. On the other hand, he has taught in the Faculty of Sciences of the UMA and has participated in different scientific dissemination activities.
