Dr. Paula Hidalgo Gutiérrez is considered a medical reference when it comes to identifying malignant neoplasms by means of radiodiagnostic techniques in the male and female urological apparatus. Her work, from the specialized service of the University Hospital La Paz, has allowed her to approach innovative care methodologies and to intercalate them with cutting-edge technology, such as CT scans, for a more accurate and early detection of different tumors.  

At the same time, it maintains a constant link with the International Network for the Surveillance of Hepatopancreaticobiliary Disorders. The analysis of these conditions is another line of research in which she has numerous scientific articles.
