Alejandro Cañestro Donoso, PhD in Art History, is an expert researcher in the study of the Baroque and the art of silversmithing who has been able to develop his activity in the Sumptuary Arts Research Group. As a result of his work in this field, he has written a wide range of articles published in specialized journals in Art History, and has collaborated in dozens of collective works. He has also written books such as La concatedral de San Nicolás or El arte de plateros en Elche.
In compatibilization with his tasks as a researcher and cultural disseminator, he has shown a great sensitivity for the world of teaching, so he has taught university classes in the Degree of History of Art.
