As CEO of Ecoacsa, Mr. David Álvarez García has developed a wide experience and background in fields such as environmental markets, business integration models with biodiversity and natural capital, especially in quantification and accounting models. Thus, he occupies a relevant leadership position in ecosystem services, biodiversity and sustainable finance in business.

He is also a participant in numerous international initiatives, especially his role as Advisor in the Technical Expert Group of the Sustainable Finance Action Plan of the European Commission, as well as his participation in the Business@Biodiversity initiative of the same entity. In this way, his career has led him to be a speaker at various international conferences in Pyongyang, Brussels, London, Edinburgh, Madrid and Barcelona.
