Dr. Laura Mantecon Fernandez is a leading pediatrician in the field not only medical, but also scientific where she has focused her studies on the impact of antibiotics on the intestinal microbiota and vitamin D in the pediatric population.  

Her extensive professional career has led her to stay in the United States, always in the Neonatal Area, where she maintains her activity in one of the most prominent hospitals in Spain. Her scientific career is prolific and has publications in relevant medical journals and many participations in national and international congresses.

  • Accredited Instructor in Neonatal Resuscitation at the Spanish Society of Neonatology (SENEO). 
  • Postgraduate in Neonatology, Pediatric Emergencies and Updating in Primary Care Pediatrics. 
  • Researcher specializing in the Impact of Antibiotics on Neonatal Intestinal Microbiota and Vitamin D in Pediatric Population (markers and status).
