Epilepsy, movement disorders and adult behavior during sleep or obstructive apnea and its link with Alzheimer's disease are some of the areas of study of Dr. Mónica Díaz Román.  

A specialist in Clinical Neurophysiology, she has developed her career in the Sleep Units of several hospitals in Spain. The wide interest in Sleep Medicine and the understanding of the different disorders and associated pathologies have been the focus of Díaz Román's clinical care career.  

Likewise, this specialist is an active member of different scientific societies such as the Spanish Sleep Society, the Spanish Society of Clinical Neurophysiology (SENFC) and the Spanish Society of Neurology (SEN).
