Dr. Ángel Artal Cortés is a specialist in Medical Oncology who has devoted a large part of his medical career to the diagnosis and treatment of lung cancer. His excellent skills in his area, together with his great leadership capacity, have made him the head of the Oncology Section of the Miguel Servet University Hospital. 

In parallel to his work, he has developed several research projects related to his specialty. In this sense, he has carried out studies that show that some lung cancer patients benefit from immunotherapy after having overcome their disease. He has also divulged his knowledge in numerous congresses related to Medical Oncology.
