Dr. Azahara Sancho de Ávila has an excellent curriculum vitae, both from the academic and professional point of view. After completing her degree in Medicine, she decided to carry out her internship as MIR in the Area of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Therapy at the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria. However, he reached his professional zenith in 2013 with the publication of his PhD, for which he obtained the Distinction Outstanding Cum Laude. 

In addition, he has dedicated his professional career to the management of patients in clinical centers of reference on the international scene such as the University Hospital of La Zarzuela and the University Hospital La Paz, among others. All this, combined with the activity of tutor of various academic programs, for example, the Desflurane-based Inhalation Anesthesia. She has also dedicated part of her career to research, becoming part of the Scientific Review Area of the Spanish Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation.
