The health vocation led Dr. Sofia Ruiz Salcedo to specialize in Family and Community Medicine and in the improvement of processes in favor of Patient Safety. Thus, among her many functions, she has been responsible for assessing compliance with the special vaccination schedule in rheumatology patients under treatment with biological agents or biological response modifiers at the University Hospital Reina Sofia. 

In parallel, she developed her career in the classroom as a teacher in Respiratory Pathology for Residents and Tutors of Family and Community Medicine in health districts of Cordoba and Guadalquivir.
