José Conrado Martínez Acevedo's professional career is framed by his experience in the Public Railway Sector, occupying various positions in construction, operation and technological development of the Spanish high-speed and conventional railway networks.

He is Head of the Research, Development and Innovation Projects Area at the Administrador de Infraestructuras Ferroviarias, a state-owned company attached to the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda.

He combines his practical work with dissemination as a regular speaker at conferences and congresses around the world. He is also a member of the Editorial Committee of the specialized magazine Electrification Magazine.
