Pharmacist Damià Barris Blundell has a long career in this sector. After working in several centers, he decided to found his own pharmacy. He is also a great expert in the development of projects related to Quality Management in Pharmaceutical Entities, driving one of the pharmacies in which he worked to be the first to obtain the European Quality seal according to the EFQM Excellence model in Spain.  

His good work in this field has allowed him to be awarded the TEVA National Prize for the Best Pharmaceutical Service thanks to an initiative in which a new service for reviewing the use of medicines was implemented. He has also authored a large number of articles published in scientific journals specializing in Pharmacy.
