Internship Program in Clinical Analysis

The role of laboratories is one of the pillars to boost the development of medical sciences. Thanks to the research work carried out by the personnel in the area, it is possible both to identify the different atypical manifestations of the body at the endogenous level, and to consolidate the bases for creating new treatments to help combat pathologies. Considering that the emergence of new diseases is the order of the day, it forces the clinical sector to prepare itself to face great challenges. From the Faculty of Medicine of TECH we designed an Internship Program in Clinical Analysis, which includes in its curriculum the latest content related to the sector. The program lasts three weeks, carefully distributed in eight-hour days from Monday to Friday. During this period, you will be accompanied by prestigious teachers, who will instruct you in relevant aspects such as the standard parameters of a clinical studies laboratory, its legal framework and the different instrumental techniques of microbiology, parasitology, hematology, biochemistry and genetics. In addition, you will explore the etiological and epidemiological bases of the main microbial-parasitic diseases affecting humans.
