Rosa de Miguel Buckley is a renowned doctor in the service of medicine, who throughout her career has specialized in Infectious Diseases and Viruses, which is why she is part of the Tropical Medicine unit of the University Hospital La Paz. In her healthcare work she has had to deal with diseases brought from abroad, such as, for example, Dengue, Chikungunya and Fascioliasis.  

Her extensive knowledge and ability to solve problems has allowed her to become a first class doctor, forming part of research groups that delve into the latest developments and updates of virus and infection diseases.
