Dr. Juan Zafra Martín is a Specialist in Radiation Oncology, an area in which he has been able to develop with mastery in a first level hospital center in Spain. His excellent clinical work is accompanied by a brilliant career as a researcher, where he has been able to obtain funds that have allowed him to investigate how to combine radiotherapy and immunotherapy to treat lung cancer and metastatic melanoma.

With more than a dozen studies published in high impact journals, Dr. Zafra Martín has focused his analysis on immunoradiotherapy as an effective therapeutic strategy in Lung Cancer or on stereotactic ablative radiotherapy for Oligometastatic Breast Cancer in elderly patients. For this reason, he frequently participates in congresses, seminars and conferences that address Radiation Oncology with the utmost scientific rigor.
