With a professional interest focused on the care, teaching and research of Pediatric and Adult Nervous Tumors, Dr. Teresa Ribalta Farrés has carved out an extensive clinical career as Head and Director in various medical units. Among them, her position as Head of the Department of Pathology at the Hospital Sant Joan de Déu, where she was also responsible for its Biobank, stands out. 

She has also been a Neuropathologist at the Clinical Hospital of Barcelona, directing the Pediatric Pathology Department, and collaborates with many research projects in her field in national and international institutions, also teaching Anatomic Pathology in academic institutions.
