In this line, Izquierdo Perez has developed a research career in which she has published studies on COPD, where she analyzes the relationship of this pathology with the occurrence of recurrence and second tumors in lung cancer surgery. In addition to this, the determining role of the Pneumology Services during COVID-19 has been another of the topics she has dealt with, obtaining as a result the publication of this study in an international journal.
