Experience
Dr. Andres Barriga Martin has special interest in minimally invasive techniques for the treatment of cervical and lumbar pain, as well as sciatica and canal stenosis. These techniques allow to solve the problem with minimal incisions, faster recovery and less discomfort for the patient. He also performs Complex Spine Surgery and operations to those patients who have not improved or have had some complication with a previous surgery.
During his career he has made several stays and visits in foreign centers. In addition to his clinical activity, he has been dedicated to teaching and directs the Research Group in Spine Pathology of the National Hospital of Paraplegics, having received research grants and published in various scientific journals in the specialty.
