With an extensive professional background of more than 15 years, Dr. Fernando Quiles García is a prestigious Art Historian highly specialized in the field of Architecture and Historical Heritage. In this sense, his philosophy is based on both the preservation and dissemination of culture to promote the appreciation of art among new generations and society in general.

In this way, he has worked as a researcher at renowned institutions, where he has led multiple projects on subjects such as the influence of Gothic and Renaissance art on the Iberian Peninsula. Along these same lines, he has an extensive body of scientific work that includes the production of 14 books on related areas such as sophisticated techniques for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage, the implementation of emerging technological tools such as 3D Modeling in artistic preservation processes, and innovative strategies for the promotion of buildings of great historical value. On the other hand, he has balanced these tasks with the leadership of numerous emblematic initiatives, among which the restoration of the Cathedral of Sevilla stands out. He has led multidisciplinary work teams to ensure the protection of this iconic monument. Another of his main contributions has been to implement a system based on Augmented Reality that allows citizens to virtually explore the main historical sites of Andalusia. Thanks to this, it has promoted greater interaction between the community and cultural heritage, thereby strengthening the link between the community and its cultural legacy.

It is worth noting that its excellence has been recognized on several occasions in the form of awards. An example of this is the International Recognition of UNESCO for its contribution in the field of Cultural Conservation. He has also actively participated as a speaker at various international conferences to share his findings.
