Dr. Mónica Lorenzo Martín is a doctor specialized in Thoracic Surgery, with many years of professional experience, mainly developed at the Cruces University Hospital. In this sense, her career has focused on the care and treatment of Thoracic Cancer, an area in which she has demonstrated a notable commitment to continuous improvement and the application of advanced surgical techniques. In addition, her interest in innovation and technological development in healthcare has led her to remain at the forefront of surgical and interventional techniques.

She has also participated in collaboration agreements for research studies with stem cells, as well as in clinical trials focused on lung cancer and immunotherapy treatment, contributing to the advancement of knowledge in these areas. It is also worth noting that she has held the position of Secretary of the Thoracic Tumors Committee at the Cruces University Hospital, where she has collaborated in the coordination and development of strategies for the treatment of patients with Complex Thoracic Diseases.
