With an international academic career that includes training in prestigious hospitals in France and the United States, Dr. Oscar Girón Vallejo has specialized in the areas of Pediatric Oncologic Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery. This has led him to become Head of the Pediatric Oncological Surgery Unit at the Virgen de la Arrixaca Clinical University Hospital. 

His academic and research work focuses on different branches of Pediatric Surgery itself, being Main Researcher in the model of tumor NK cell interaction in high-risk neuroblastoma and collaborating with other projects of liver tumors in infants.
