Dr. Emma L. Verástegui Avilés is a Surgeon and Palliative Care Specialist. She has more than 3 decades of experience in clinical care, during which she has collaborated in the management of thousands of patients, especially in the National Cancer Institute in Mexico. 

In terms of his curriculum, he has a PhD in Biomedical Sciences, as well as a master's degree in this field in combination with Immunology, in addition to dozens of continuing education and refresher programs. On the other hand, she has been part of various research groups as Scientific Advisor, contributing to the advancement of Medicine through the study of various lines related to Palliative Care.
