Beatriz Rioseras de Bustos is internationally recognized for leading the team that discovered Protein Phosphorylation, one of the most important mechanisms in the regulation of the cell cycle in higher organisms.
These contributions have been key to regulate the development and activation of antibiotics from Streptomyces bacteria. She is an active academic representative of the Department of Functional Biology at the University of Oviedo and collaborates with Southern Denmark University.
