Dr. Peter Wolfgang Vorwald is a Medical Specialist in General and Digestive System Surgery, with extensive experience in ICU, Abdominal and Soft Parts Ultrasound, Surgical Intensive Care, Vascular Surgery and Obesity Surgery. He has an outstanding and important training and professional career in countries such as Germany, Italy and Spain, where he has forged a career that has led him to be Head of the Esophagogastric and Bariatric Surgery Unit of several of the most prestigious hospitals in the city of Madrid, as well as Specialist Physician at the University Hospital "Klinikum Rechts der Isar" in Munich.

He combines his work with scientific research and teaching, and also has more than 25 publications in national and international journals, several videos published, more than 170 communications and presentations at national and international congresses, as well as the organization of many of them.
