Dr. Vanesa Perez Alonso is a great Specialist in Oncology, with special predilection towards the Pediatric Hematology Area. She has spent most of her professional career as a member of the Hemotooncology Service team at the 12 de Octubre University Hospital, actively participating in the management of children and adolescents affected by cancer, mainly in its representation as a disease of the blood or of the organs involved in its production (marrow, spleen, lymph nodes, etc.).  

In addition, she is a Doctor of Medicine after the successful publication of her thesis Long-term evolution of pediatric Hodgkin's lymphomas: prognostic and quality of life factors. On the other hand, she has participated in several study projects as a member of the select I+12 group. All this, at the same time that she participates in the scientific dissemination for the fight against childhood cancer, both from the medical and social point of view.
