Dr. Aintzane Sancho is a Specialist in Medical Oncology and has a wide and extensive clinical career as a physician in this area, mainly developing her activity at Cruces University Hospital. She has focused her practice on the management of cancer, especially in adults, showing special interest in diagnostic imaging tests and their usefulness in the study of aspects such as those related to squamous cell carcinoma in the head and / or neck region.  

She has also collaborated with several research projects, participating as co-author of more than 3 dozen articles indexed in international media such as the European Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging or BMC Cancer, among others.
