With a more than outstanding career in the service of research, Manuel Contreras Acuña, has specialized in the field of analytical chemistry of environmental samples and food. From his work he has contributed to national and international projects in entities of high prestige and professional demand.  

At the same time, he has worked in independent projects that seek advances within the sector, which is why he is an active contributor to scientific research. In addition, he has worked as a substitute professor, nurturing the minds of new professionals in his field.
