Dr. Alina Boteanu is an international reference in the Specialty of Rheumatology, specifically in the Pediatric Area. She has published dozens of scientific articles, accumulating numerous references in each of her research works. 

She is also a pioneer in several clinical projects launched in Spain, such as the first JULES Registry of Juvenile Onset Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Erythematosus in Spain, carried out under her tutelage. In his professional career he has held various positions of responsibility, being head of the Pediatric Rheumatology Unit at the Ramón y Cajal University Hospital in Madrid.
