Experience
Dr. Marta Valera del Arco is an Expert in the Clinical Management of the Equine Species, being horses her main patients since she graduated. She has worked on the knowledge of their organic, bone and muscular physiology for more than a decade, both from an academic and work point of view, studying several programs among which the Spanish Certificate in Equine Clinic stands out. In addition, he developed his own line of research with his thesis Horse Racing in Spain 2011-2014 characteristics and relationship with the incidence of catastrophic musculoskeletal injuries, a work that served him to delve into the traumatological field of equids from a multidisciplinary perspective.
On the other hand, teaching has always been one of her highest aspirations. For this reason, she is Professor of several university programs, as well as Coordinator of undergraduate subjects and Director of TFG. All this in coordination with the assistance in centers such as the Hospital Clínico Veterinario Complutense, with the management of Sports Medicine and general services as an asset in their daily practice.
