Literature and teaching are the two pillars on which María del Pilar Romero Mateos has based her professional career. Her vocation for Social Education and her commitment to issues as important today as the promotion of Gender Equality have led her to be part of major educational projects such as ABILE, focused on defending the rights of children with specific school support needs. In addition, she wrote together with illustrator Noelia Montesinos, the work "Pincipeso cara de beso", focused on child empowerment in emotional education.  

All this has led her to be part of several regional and national associations dedicated to International Cooperation, bringing culture and training to deprived or disadvantaged areas and contributing to the intellectual growth of thousands of children.
