Having published a book titled Medicamentos Huérfanos, perspectivas y oportunidades de atención farmacéutica, Dr. Vicente Gallego Lago has combined his work as a military pharmacist at the HMC Gómez Ulla with scientific dissemination and research in various fields. 

He has published numerous articles in which he has participated as co-author or author, including studies on pharmacotherapy in pregnant epileptic women, use of drugs in neonatal units or proton inhibitors in the pediatric pump, among others.
