After graduating in Medicine from the University of Salamanca, and starting a sub-specialization in Sleep Disorders within her specific area as a Neurologist, Dr. Marta Ruiz López had the opportunity to perform an external rotation at Mont Sinai Hospital with the help of one of the Banc Sabadell grants, awarded by the Patronat Científic del Col-legi de Metges. 

Thanks to his special interest in the alterations produced by Sleep Disorders, his experience at Mont Sinai Hospital, a world reference center in the Neuromodulatory Treatment of neurological diseases, which in turn are associated with Movement Disorders such as Parkinson's disease, Dystonia and Essential Tremor, has been the impetus to continue his academic training at international level and patient care in Spain.
