Dr. José Manuel Laguna Sastre is a recognized specialist in General and Digestive Surgery of the Valencian Community with more than 30 years of experience. He has developed as Chief of General and Digestive Surgery Service of the General University Hospital of Castellón and member of the teaching committee of this institution, being tutor of resident doctors.

He has had the opportunity during his career to specialize in other countries such as France where he completed a Diploma in Laparoscopic Surgery, focusing in recent times to Bariatric Surgery, Endocrine and Digestive both in their care and research activity.
