Prestigious and renowned, Dr. Pedro Guillén García is one of the world's leading specialists in Sports Medicine and Sports Traumatology. In 2007 he invented the wireless arthroscopy (WAD) and in 2010 he created his own cartilage implant technique (ICC). 

He is president of the Dr. Pedro Guillén Foundation and a member of multiple committees and scientific societies including the National Academy of Surgery, the Royal National Academy of Medicine, the Royal National Academy of Pharmacy, the European College of Sports Traumatology and the National Committee of Sports Medicine. He is also an Honorary Member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America.  

He has received innumerable awards and distinctions, including the National Research Award granted by the Spanish Society of Traumatology and O.C., the National Award for Research in Sports Medicine and the Medal of Merit for Work, awarded by the Ministry of Labor and Immigration.
