D. in Civil Engineering María Luisa De La Hoz Torres has focused her line of research on the analysis of the interaction of physical agents and human beings, both in work environments due to the use of machines and equipment, and in non-work environments derived from indoor environmental conditions in buildings.  

This work is combined with his experience as a teacher in academic university environments. In these spaces he transmits to students the advances achieved in the field of acoustics. An area of special mastery of De La Hoz Torres, which earned her recognition in 2019 as a young researcher by the Spanish Society of Acoustics in the framework of the International Congress INTER-NOISE. 

As a result of her scientific activity, this expert has more than a dozen scientific articles in JCR indexed journals in the first and second quartile (Q1 and Q2), obtaining an index H=6 and 103 total citations in Scopus, and H=7 and 153 total citations in Google Scholar. She has also participated as a researcher in national research projects. She also participates as a Collaborating Researcher in contracts signed with the Agency of Housing and Rehabilitation of Andalusia and other private companies.
