Dr. Isabel Santiago Llorente has focused her clinical activity on Anesthesia, Internal Medicine and Intensive Care of Horses, as well as research in this field.  

This specialization has led her to direct the area of Equine Internal Medicine and the Anesthesia Service of the Complutense Veterinary Clinical Hospital. From this area she also promotes the study of veterinary students in this field and applies the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment in equines.
