Dr. José Manuel Rumbao Aguirre has oriented his professional career to the clinical field and the management of first level hospital spaces. Thus, throughout his excellent career in this sector he has assumed the management of health districts, the sub-direction of Health Care in the Andalusian Health Service or the medical direction of the Reina Sofia Hospital. In the latter, he has also been the head of the Pediatrics Service. 

In addition to his high level of competence in team coordination and management of health areas, Rumbao Aguirre has also worked as a tutor in Pediatrics residencies both in academic institutions and in hospitals.
