Dr. Paula De la Torre Vélez has experience in the initial care of critically ill and polytraumatized patients due to her medical practice in the Emergency Service of the Community of Madrid and in the Hospital of Burgos as an internist.  

His enthusiasm for this field has led him throughout his career to continuously update his skills, especially in clinical problem solving in medicine. He has also participated in numerous national and international congresses in his field and has focused on the surveillance of nosocomial infection, prognostic uncertainty in anoxic brain injury, or ECMO cannulation in patients with severe biventricular dysfunction secondary to septic shock.
