Dr. Félix Armadá Maresca has more than 25 years of experience as a specialist in Ophthalmological Medicine and a worldwide reference. He is the Ophthalmologist of the Presidency of the Government, the Vice-Presidency and High Foreign Officials, as well as Head of the Ophthalmology Department of the University Hospital La Paz in Madrid. He has also directed the Department of Ophthalmology at the University Hospital San Francisco de Asis and is a participant in the elaboration of the Protocols for the Treatment of Macular Diseases in association with the Spanish Society of Retina and Vitreous, the Spanish Society of Ophthalmology and the Community of Madrid.
In his rigor as a researcher, he has given more than a hundred conferences, multiple articles and papers in several scientific journals, in addition to numerous books on the specialty. He also stands out for having obtained the Best Surgeon Award in recognition of his career. In this sense, his achievements in being a pioneer in the introduction of the latest techniques in the treatment of the macula and precursor in the use of antiangiogenics for the treatment of various macular diseases stand out.
