Dr. Catalina de Paco Matallana is a professional versed in Fetal Medicine and Surgery, backed by an extensive training career in this and other areas that make up Gynecology and Obstetrics. Although she has many notable aspects in her academic curriculum, the most outstanding is the European Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery, for which she obtained the distinction of Outstanding Cum Laude and the Extraordinary Prize for the Best Thesis in the field of health of her year. In addition, after completing her Bachelor's Degree, she completed a sub-specialization program at King's College University Hospital, London, under the direction of Professor Kypros Nicolaides, World Leader in Fetal Medicine and Surgery.  

All this has led her to become a professional versed in this area and to occupy the position of FEA in the Maternal-Fetal Medicine Unit of the Hospital Clínico Universitario Virgen de la Arrixaca, in Murcia. She is also Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as well as author of more than 40 scientific publications in high impact international journals.
