Dr. María Delfina Romero Feris is president of the Spanish Association of Hyperbaric Medicine and Research, thanks to her extensive knowledge and skills in the field. 

Graduated from the University of Argentina and with a continuous training, she has held important positions as medical responsible in different clinics in Spain until reaching the position of Medical Director in BioBárica Medicina Hiperbárica, a center specialized in this field, from where she has managed to open the medical office of the first 5 Biobaric Centers in Spain. 

From her experience in AEMHEI she has been recognized for increasing the knowledge about hyperbaric medicine and promoting its application through research, training and assistance to professionals, promoting the application of treatment in different pathologies and raising the quality of care throughout the field of Hyperbaric Medicine by promoting high standards of patient care and operational safety. It has facilitated communication and collaboration between researchers and professionals interested in Hyperbaric Medicine research worldwide.
