María Cruz Martín Delgado is a specialist in Intensive Care Medicine. During her extensive professional career, she has held various positions of relevance in the medical care field, which has led her to become head of the Intensive Care Medicine Department at centers such as the University Hospital of Torrejón or the 12 de Octubre.  

She also has extensive experience in the world of research, serving as lead researcher and collaborator in more than 50 studies in the field of critically ill patients. Likewise, she has authored more than 80 scientific articles and has been president of different medical associations.
