Dra. García de Frutos studied medicine between 1988 and 1994 at the Teaching Unit of the Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona and carried out her specialized training in MIR in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology at the same hospital. He has dedicated himself to the specialty of spine surgery since he finished his training as a resident and currently works in the Spine Unit of the Vall d'Hebrón Hospital in Barcelona and in the ICATME Spine Unit, in the Quirón-Dexeus Clinic in Barcelona.

Trained in the different branches of spinal pathology (degenerative, fractures, tumors, infections, deformity…) she devotes special attention to cervical pathology on which she has given various training courses and participates in research projects. Member of the Spanish column society GEER, member of SECOT, reviewer of the Spanish Journal of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, European Spine Journal and EFORT Open Reviews. He participates in training, teaching and research of the specialty with more than 100 communications in national conferences, more than 30 in international conferences, speaker and moderator in numerous courses and conferences, 19 publications in national and international magazines, 9 book chapters.
