Sonia Santander Ballestín is a Pharmacologist with an extensive activity as a Researcher, with more than 10 years of experience, teaching and participating in more than 15 innovation projects, which have been presented at national and international congresses. 

Santander Ballestín belongs to the research group of Adult Progenitors of the Cardiovascular System of the Government of Aragon, being also a Researcher of the Aragonese Institute of Health Sciences. She has published more than 20 scientific articles in high impact journals.
