Pharmacotherapeutist Eduardo López Briz defines himself as a loyal advocate of Drug Evaluation in Spain. He has worked for several decades in this field, analyzing and researching on the methodology of study and testing of substances that are currently marketed. All this as Distinguished Member and Coordinator of the Genesis Group of Drug Evaluation, a pioneering project in the world and promoted by the Spanish Society of Hospital Pharmacy.  

He has also worked for different clinical organizations directing and managing their pharmaceutical areas, such as the Health Department of the Valencian Community and the University Hospital La Fe. On the other hand, his interest in the dissemination and advancement of the profession has been reflected in several scientific articles, as well as through the authorship of the book: Evaluación económica del seguimiento farmacoterapéutico en pacientes diabéticos o con patología cardiovascular (Economic evaluation of pharmacotherapeutic monitoring in diabetic patients or with cardiovascular pathology).
