Participant in multiple conferences, lectures and scientific meetings of national and international importance, Dr. Javier García Septiem has led his clinical career in the field of General Surgery and Digestive System. Specifically, he is a specialist in Coloproctology, having the corresponding certification from the European Board of Coloproctology. 

He performs his clinical duties at de La Princesa University Hospital as the  Coloproctology Unit coordinator, having also been deputy surgical director and surgeon of this specialty at Getafe University Hospital. His has devoted more than two decades of his extensive career to this field, which has also allowed him to dedicate himself to research, with two projects on stem cells in hypoxia and communication with oncology patients.
