Dr. Manuel Vicente Granell Gil's professional career has been oriented for more than 20 years to Thoracic Anesthesia and Advanced Airway Management in ENT, Stomatology, Plastic Surgery and Urology specialties, activity that he has developed as Anesthesiologist and Head of Section of Anesthesiology at the Consorcio Hospital General Universitario de Valencia in Spain.   

He is the director of the first European center of EACTA accredited for teaching in thoracic anesthesia (Thoracic Anesthesia Exchange Training Programme), so he has coordinated several postgraduate programs and directed numerous international conferences of "Update in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation in Thoracic Surgery", accredited by the scientific societies SEDAR and EACTA, societies of which he is an active member. His numerous studies have been published by the main indexed journals, among which stands out the one carried out on 1125 physicians in Spain regarding the experience of airway management in Covid-19 patients. He also stands out as the first editor of the international book Anesthesia and Resuscitation in Thoracic Surgery, which has already been published 6 times.
